The legendary Mets broadcaster described Cardinals outfielder Victor Scott II’s attempt at bunting for a hit as a “drag bunt” but seemed to hint at some censorship on SNY’s broadcast in the process. “This is shades of Bud Harrelson, who was a terrific — I know you’re not supposed to say it.
