Alabama teacher charged with raping 12-year-old student

An Alabama middle school teacher has been charged with raping a 12-year-old student, according to police. Jill Brisendine Campbell, 47, was arrested last week over the boy’s claim that she sexually abused him for years, beginning in 2015, when he was just 12, according to the Opelika Police Department. She was charged with rape and sodomy in the second degree.
